The reading programme in CPE is designed for children between 5 to 7 years old towards learning English language.

For this programme, it incorporates the use of phonetic teaching approach in class for young children. This teaching methodology exposes young children to read by linking sounds and the symbols that represent phonemes (graphemes, or letter groups). In this programme, children are exposed to the English language contents/materials from both primary & secondary resources (internet, books, interesting articles, rhymes/fairy tales, songs, and films to provide a strong foundation and learning framework to aidthem to gain confidence and improve their English language skills. Children will have more rewarding learning experience in this programme as they experience fun learning activities with their classmates in conducive environment.

This programme comprises of 4 levels namely (Pre reading, level 1, level 2 & Level 3) and the duration of each level is 6 months.
