The Starters is beginner level 1, the first of three Cambridge English Qualifications designed for young learners aged between 7-8 years old towards learning English language. This is formerly known as Cambridge English: Starters (YLE Starters).

The primary aim of this course is to provide exposure for young children in learning English language as well as to learn basic English contents through realistic practice of listening, reading and writing, and speaking. This course offers enjoyable and engaging practices for the young learners as they learn English in fun and practical ways. The materials used are colourful, interactive and activity-based teaching methodology. The students at this level are encouraged to learn and practice the language on a daily basis.

The duration of this course is 14 months.
